Sinemet Makes Parkinson's Disease Symptoms Worse

My wife has a severe paradoxical reaction to Sinemet (She suffers from PSP). Rather than get better after taking the drug, as most Parkinson's Disease patients do, she gets worse: balance, speech, ability to control her muscles, etc.

It is awful, and the worst part of her disease. Has anyone had or heard of such a reaction to this very common drug?
