Sedatives Like Ativan and Lorazepam Don't Knock Me Out

When I had my melanoma removed I was given 20mg of diazepam in a pill and lorazepam injection as well as fentanyl injection plus I am on the fentanyl patch as well which I informed them. They asked if I wanted to be put under I said no I’m good, no anxiety but they said no driving etc.

I had a whole lot of meds in me, let’s just say I didn’t have pain for hours. First time in years that I was pain free and I wanted to do things. Well a change in benzos caused a bad effect I had them remove them from my prescriptions. So diazepam and lorazepam remove anxiety and let’s me get things done. No drowsiness.
