Paradoxical Reaction to the Brand Name Claritin, but Not the Generic!

I suffer from allergies and have been taking Flonase for years.. recently my doctor recommend I take Claritin along with Flonase to help with my post nasal issues..

I started taking the generic version of Claritin and did not have any problems so I thought I would try the name brand instead and read the difference in ingredients there was only one difference in the generic version an added startch that the name brand Claritin did not contain.

I took the name brand Claritin and within the half hour started feeling jittery, nervous and mildly anxious.. I drank water to try to flush it out.. I’m never taking real Claritin again and will stick to generic..
