Hospitalized Due to Levaquin

My husband took 1 - 500mg Levaquin, 2 hours later, he could not stand or talk, He has been in ICU for a week now & finally woke up yesterday, he knows who he is, where he is & his birth date, but after talking to him today, his still has a lot of memory loss, he also had severe pain (lightly touch him & he would grimace in severe pain) Docs keep telling me it is going to take time :(
