by Erin
(Rye, NH)

I came back from Costa Rica with travellers diarrhea. They put me on Cipro twice a day for 5 days. After day 2 I could barely walk. I have been off it for 4 days and I still having trouble walking and standing from a sitting position. It is so awful.

Thanks,

Antibiotics not even necessary
by: Kerri Knox, The Immune System Queen

Hi Erin,

I'm so sorry to hear about your weakness after taking Cipro. The sad part is that it wasn't even necessary for you to have taken antibiotics for travelers' diarrhea. In most cases, a good PROBIOTIC like Prescript Assist Probiotic could very well have taken care of your diarrhea without having to have taken antibiotics in the first place! And particularly getting an antibiotic with known dangers of problems up to and including permanent disability for a minor condition is unacceptable and not good medicine. Since this is the case, you may even want to check with a Medical Malpractice Lawyer to see if you have a case against your doctor for damaging you with this drug.

But unfortunately, what's done is done. You can only move forward from here with more knowledge than you had before.

So, what to do next? My suggestion is to get my book The Levaquin Tendonitis Solution and follow the protocol that I outline. I created this protocol exactly for people like you who are suffering the toxic effects of Levaquin in order to give them the best opportunity to get better.

I hope this helps.
