Ankle Pain After Only 3 Days of Fluoroquinolone Antibiotics

After only 5 doses I felt a mild pain in the side of my ankle. I stopped taking the pills and called my doctor. He said he had never seen anyone have a reaction that quickly. I am 66 years of age and probably should not have received this prescription.


Three weeks later my ankle is still sensitive. I am very interested in your Fluoroquinolone Toxicity Solution, however I don't have a computer of my own. I use the computer at the library. Is there another way to receive the book in print?

Yes, you should probably not have received this drug, however, the vast majority of people who get the drug should not be getting this drug, since it should be reserved only for those whose life is in danger from their infection. Plenty of young people have been damaged from the fluoroquinolones too. While age can be a factor, I've found that plenty of young people are damaged too. In fact, young athletes are at just as great a risk as the elderly.

And yes, these symptoms OFTEN occur that quickly; sometimes even just after the first dose. That your doctor doesn't understand this fact just means that he's not looked at the research.

At this point in time, I do not have the book in print version. However, you can easily download the book at the library and put the file onto a cheap 'flash drive' that you can buy even at most drug stores for a few dollars. Then you can either take it back to the library when you want to read it, or you can take it to a print shop and print it out. These are very easy to do, just ask any kid at the library how to do this and they should be able to help you to put the file onto a flash drive.
